March 27, 2021 Oops! I forgot to post a trip report from two weeks ago! Grrr…. While Brandy was out of town over the weekend of March 27-29, I decided to grab Jarrod and head north for a stop on the Green Chile Cheeseburger Trail. It turned into so much more though.

Cedro Creek Nature Trail – Take 2
April 5, 2021 Brandy and I drove back up to the Cedro Creek Nature Trail for a Sunday hike. As we had done this trail already in the past, we went straight to the trailhead, instead of wandering for 20 minutes looking for it.
Indian School Rocks Trail

Ruidoso, NM
November 7-8, 2020 It seems it’s been a while since we’ve gotten out of town. My last post was in early September. Taos, NM
August 29, 2020 Brandy and I woke up early on Saturday in anticipation of visiting the farmer’s markets in downtown Albuquerque and in Los Ranchos on Rio Grande Blvd. We got to the market downtown and it was PACKED. As a main stop on theContinue reading “Belen, NM”
Coronado Historic Site
January 25, 2020 My plan for this week’s outing was to stop by my parents’ house to drop off some boxes, then head down Corrales Blvd to Alameda, then Rio Grande Blvd down to downtown-ish then head up the El Camino Real senic byway (4th Street) into Bernalillo, swinging by the Coronado Historic Site beforeContinue reading “Coronado Historic Site”
Planned Adventure: Scenic Byway Tour – January 25, 2020
This weekend, I’ll be taking a leisurely drive through a few of my favorite scenic byways thus far: Corrales Blvd, Rio Grande Blvd through Los Ranchos de Albuquerque and 4th St through Albuquerque and into Bernalillo (the original alignment of Route 66, pre-1937.) I take Rio Grande Blvd. on my way to and from workContinue reading “Planned Adventure: Scenic Byway Tour – January 25, 2020”
